ETAT302 Machine Design
After completion of the course, the students will be able to:
CO.ETAT302.1 Percieve the systematic design procedure and design principles to manufacture a specific shape considering various methods of manufacture with constraints and to assess the effect of various static and dynamic forces acting on a system along with design of joints for rods.
CO.ETAT302.2 Compare, choose and appraise the design fore lifting load machines and to evaluate the effect of joints formed by welding, bolting & riveting.
CO.ETAT302.3 Interpret the influence of power transmission through shafts and couplings and to discover the effect oftransmitting forces through springs, levers.
CO.ETAT302.4 Assess the relationship of increasing-decreasing speeds in designed parts and to jutisfy given function for supporting and retaining the rotating parts.
