After comppletion of the course the students will be able to
CO.ETAT203.1 Explain the behaviour of structural members subjected to tension, compression and thermal load using the fundamental concepts of stress, strain and elastic properties of materials.
CO.ETAT203.2 Relate the concepts of flexural stress, shear stress and deflection induced in the beam.
CO.ETAT203.3 Examine the phenomenon of failure in columns and members under torsion.
CO.ETAT203.4 Analyze the design of pressure vessels and springs.
